We are looking forward to hosting our first ever Back To School Revival. Our prayer is that the young people in attendance will be challenged by the Word of God and ready to put their best foot forward for the coming school year. Whether you attend a Christian school, a public school, or are home schooled, we invite you to come to this one night revival service hosted by the Calvary Baptist Church. We hope the Lord will use this event in a great way!
Who is Jeff Carney?
I grew up as PK (preachers kid) but at the age of 17 I became a MK (missionary kid). In the summer of ’94, I pulled into Jacksonville Florida on my rice-rocket and 48 hours later I was hooked for life with a red-headed girl from Hawaii, Tennessee, Tampa, and Argentina. We tied the knot during the spring equinox and our family has grown to 6 (us, 2 kids, 1 dog & 1 cat). My educational vitae includes schools from Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Florida and Virginia. I have been involved in ministry for 18 years (16 in missions). We have participated with two teams that planted churches in Merida, Yucatan. I am passionate about contextualizing the gospel, making disciples, training nationals, and participating in short-cycle church planting. I am at home on my road and mountain bike as I turn down new roads, visit old villages and experience the thorn laden brecha of Yucatan.

This will help cover the expense of food as well as additional prizes and giveaways.
Time:
We will begin promptly at 6 pm with our end time around 8 pm. Food will follow in our gymnasium/fellowship hall for all in attendance.
What To Wear:
We will be in the church auditorium for the majority of the night. Our young people have been encouraged to wear the following:
Young Men – A collard shirt with khakis or jeans
Young Ladies – A modest blouse and skirt or a modest dress
